Department of Energy to Update Study to Increase the Beneficial Reuse of Used Oil
The Department of Energy (DOE) is directed to do this study in cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The legislation specifically requires the updating of data that was used in preparing the 2016 report in consultation with relevant Federal, State, and Local agencies and affected industry and stakeholder groups; and prepare and submit to Congress a coordinated Federal strategy to increase the beneficial reuse of used oil.
