It’s not enough to simply have the largest network of facilities; we also want to ensure that we have the best. Jim’s three decades of experience in the treatment, recovery, recycling and disposal of waste helps ensure that our processes and facilities are state-of-the-art. This not only serves the environment, but also helps LES maintain a competitive edge.
Jim is responsible for Liquid Environmental Solutions’ network of wastewater treatment and byproduct recovery plants. Prior to joining LES, Jim served in various key operations and sales leadership roles with four market-leading companies in the environmental services, by-product recovery, and transportation industries spanning a contiguous 35-year career. Jim most recently served as GM/Vice President of Sales for the Coal City Cob Company, Inc., a full-service chemical and hazardous materials transportation company. Jim spent 14 years with Safety-Kleen Systems Inc., serving in various operational leadership roles including Vice President of Operations, West Group from 2007 to 2010. In that role, he had direct operational reporting responsibility for all of Safety-Kleen’s Recycle Centers, Waste Accumulation Centers, and Product Distribution Centers, and their associated transportation fleets in the western U.S. Jim holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan and held a professional engineer’s license for 25 years.
